Recently, SDSX has launched an ultra-wideband four-channel beamforming transmit/receive (T/R) module, the SK8414. This module operates within a frequency range of 5 to 18 GHz, making it highly adaptable to a wide variety of complex and diverse application scenarios, and capable of meeting the varied needs of different customers. Each channel of the module integrates functions such as a digital phase shifter, digital attenuator, driver amplifier, switch, and power divider, and supports 6-bit phase shifting and 6-bit attenuation, enabling precise signal control.
The SK8414 module is housed in a metal-ceramic hermetic package measuring 11 mm × 10 mm × 1.9 mm, with BGA solder balls for pin connections. This packaging design offers excellent hermeticity and electromagnetic shielding, ensuring the reliability and stability of the device in complex and harsh environments.
Beamforming, as a core function of radar systems, can precisely control the radiation direction and beam shape of electromagnetic waves, significantly enhancing the radar's detection accuracy, anti-interference capability, and the efficiency of multi-target tracking. SDSX has been continuously committed to in-depth research in this field and constantly optimizing existing technologies. Looking ahead, the company actively explores cutting-edge new technologies with the aim of further breaking through and developing radar technology.
